We use national standards and cross curricular activities that are embedded in play and movement.  Multisensory, trauma-informed instruction led by neuroaffirming educators.

At The Sands Academy, we’re not a special needs school—we’re an inclusive learning community. That means we welcome and support all learners, including those who are neurodivergent, gifted, delayed, or simply don’t fit the mold of a traditional classroom.

 

We believe every child deserves to be seen, celebrated, and supported. Our classrooms are intentionally designed to meet diverse learning needs through small group instruction, flexible routines, multisensory teaching, and a whole-child approach that honors each student’s strengths.
